Wednesday "Knight" wisdom about... rage bait

Rage bait content seems to be, well, all the rage these days. Here's what Vegas Golden Knights fans should avoid at all costs.

Rage bait has become, well, all the rage in the United States (and all of the Western Hemisphere, realistically). People love screaming at their computer screens over someone making an atrocious comment or claim. You gotta get those cortisol hormones running at full capacity, after all.

Of course, there have been some rage-inducing moments in Vegas Golden Knights history. Fans will recall 2019 when a bad penalty was called, costing Vegas the series against the San Jose Sharks. There's also the moment where they missed the playoffs in 2021-22, marred by various injuries and a lack of compassion.

That's why I'm here to give you a breakdown of what rage bait content to avoid. These things will make your blood boil, whether you're watching a rival win or a bad call.

Some of these don't even involve Golden Knights hockey. Some involve online shows that enrage everyone. Here's what you should avoid to get away from the rage bait.

1.) Jubilee

If you want to tear your hair out, watch people argue and talk over one another. You'll see neurotic folks pushing their talking points over each other and try to make their points. I'm also not a big fan of emotional college kids who've never been told "no" running up to a chair and screaming like children. Hard pass here.

Yep. Even in the comment section, where most of them shoot eggs from their mouths like Birdo, don't watch this.

2.) Jordan Binnington highlights

Jordan Binnington isn't a likable person. He's on the same level as Evander Kane, saying the most outlandish things on social media. His stats against the Golden Knights are equally mind-boggling. He has a GAA of 3.08 and a save percentage of .914 in 19 games against Vegas (9-4-5). Avoid his highlights at all costs.

3.) The 2025 playoff series against the Edmonton Oilers (sans one goal)

Let's face it. The second-round series between the Golden Knights and the Edmonton Oilers was an unmitigated disaster. The team looked sluggish and couldn't get out of their own way. Plus, Edmonton was T-Bagging the Golden Knights throughout the series. That's why you should avoid watching the highlights (sans this beauty from Reilly Smith).

4.) The "Minor That Wasn't"

Believe me. This isn't something you want to see. Cody Eakin and the Golden Knights were screwed out of a series win with this egregious call. Don't search for this on YouTube at all.
