The Vegas Golden Knights have made it a habit of reuniting with old flames in recent years. First, it was Reilly Smith coming over from the New York Rangers, bringing an Original Misfit feel. Next, it was Dylan Coghlan and his infamous hat trick.
Now? It's none other than Victor Olofsson. TSN's Darren Dreger was the first to report the signing.
Expect the VGK to sign Victor Olofsson.

The Swedish winger scored 13 goals and 18 assists last season with the Colorado Avalanche and the Calgary Flames. His first Vegas residency consisted of scoring 15 goals and 14 assists in 2024-25. That included six goals and two assists on the power play, adding a hard shot to the unit.
The Golden Knights are looking to add more forward depth to the mix, particularly on the wing. Olofsson brings a familiar scoring touch, boasting a hard shot and power play acumen. Vegas needed a shooter after Pavel Dorofeyev was traded to the New York Rangers and—BOOM—they got one in a reunion.
Does that mean that he'll score as many goals as Dorofeyev did last season? Probably not. After all, it's tough to put up 37 goals in a season, even when your career-high is 28.
Still, it's a nice addition that should help the bottom-six shape up. The Golden Knights are bringing the band back together (sort of) with proven talent. Welcome back, Vegas Vic. We were wondering where you went.
