However, it appears that he's not done yet. The Golden Knights owner is also looking at another major sports league to establish himself in. This time? It's the NBA, which has expressed deep interest in having an NBA team in Sin City.

Foley has retained Morgan Stanley & Co LLC as his exclusive financial advisor. The goal? Structure an ownership platform that will bring in an NBA team. That platform will be built around Foley's current Southern Nevada sports holdings group, which consists of... the Golden Knights.
Foley also owns AFC Bournemouth, which is thriving in the Premier League. The soccer (or football, as it's known across the pond) club finished with 57 points and ended up sixth in the league. That was good enough for the Europa League group stage, establishing themselves as an emerging club in the Premier League.
If there are any major takeaways from this development, it's this. The Golden Knights have seen plenty of success from "Day F*****g One" with Foley at the helm. The aforementioned accolades should inspire confidence that a Las Vegas-based NBA team owned by him will follow suit. Of course, that might also come with various conspiracy theories about Foley being in bed with Adam Silver. But who listens to people on the fringe?
