Jack Eichel as... Pikachu
Now, Buffalo Sabres fans will strongly disagree with this sentiment. They'll say Jack Eichel is Bowser, Ganondorf, Ridley, or even King Dedede. He's supposed to be a "villain" in their book since he didn't win them a Stanley Cup.
However, Eichel has become the most iconic Vegas Golden Knights player in history. He has 41 assists (third in the NHL), 52 points (tied for seventh in the league), and is on pace for 86 assists and 109 points. Both would be franchise records in a single season, making him the most recognizable figure among NHL fans.
William Karlsson as... Yoshi
I don't know why, but William Karlsson strikes me as a Yoshi guy. He's fun-loving, loose, and always brings a smile to everyone's faces. Now I wouldn't imagine Yoshi getting drunk and taking his shirt off during a Stanley Cup parade. But it would be fairly funny.
Still, Karlsson does hold the franchise record for single-season goals (43 in 2017-18) and has developed a name for himself on special teams. That reputation has made him into a beloved figure on the Golden Knights, on par with superstars like Mark Stone.
