A week after being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Final in six games, the Vegas Golden Knights already have their preseason schedule up and running. This time, we have four dates instead of the usual six or seven (do the meme) because of the 84-game regular season schedule being rolled out.
And just like that… HOCKEY IS 89 DAYS AWAY 👀

The Golden Knights will spend the first two preseason games on the road, heading to Ontario, California (happier people there) to face the Los Angeles Kings on September 19 and to San Jose to face the Sharks on September 22. Then, it's two home games on September 24 and 26, when the Golden Knights will face the Utah Mammoth and the Sharks, respectively.
Of course, this schedule isn't anything surprising for the Golden Knights. Generally, NHL teams face the teams within their geographical scope, whether it's on the West Coast or in New York. That's no different with Vegas, who'll get a healthy dose of Western hockey.
Like, are you going to see a matchup between the Golden Knights and the Red Wings (unless it's in a neutral location)? Probably not, which is why this preseason schedule shouldn't surprise anyone. Enjoy the California hockey to go with the T-Mobile Arena games, folks.
In fact, enjoy the hockey heading your way in three months. Yes, it's going to be a looooooooooog wait for that special time to arrive. However, time flies when you're having fun, especially when you're preparing for Vegas Golden Knights hockey.
