For all the Vegas Golden Knights fans ready for Carl Lindbom to jump to the major leagues, Kelly McCrimmon has another move in tow. This time, it came in the form of signing a Belarusian goaltender named Pavel Moysevich. He secured the 21-year-old netminder to a three-year deal, bringing him over from the VHL.

This season, Moysevich played 10 games for SKA-VMF St. Petersburg in the VHL. He had a record of 5-3-0 and posted a GAA of 2.41, a save percentage of .917, and one shutout. He played 31 total games in the KHL in the past three seasons, posting a combined GAA of 2.45 and a save percentage of .912.
Moysevich was drafted by the Golden Knights in the third round of the 2024 NHL Draft. He was the 83rd overall pick in that draft, adding more goaltending bulk to a goaltender room already loaded with names. Think of how crowded that room gets with Lindbom and Cameron Whitehead already in tow.
What Pavel Moysevich brings for the Vegas Golden Knights
If there's one thing that the Golden Knights love, it's big goaltenders. That's exactly what Moysevich is, standing at 6'6". He easily takes up space in the net, allowing his size to swallow up anything that comes his way.
However, he needs more time to learn to utilize said size and use it to his advantage. He is rather raw on this front and can easily make mistakes without thinking. That can be a problem for Vegas early, especially if they look to make him a long-term solution.
Still, fans will like his in-crease movements and angles. Moysevich plays a smart brand of hockey that uses that size to his advantage. As long as he doesn't overcommit on certain plays, there's no telling how high the newest goaltender will go.
The Golden Knights assured fans that the goaltending room is set for a bit longer with the Moysevich deal. The Belarusian netminder has plenty of potential to be a good NHL goaltender, adding size and great movements to Vegas. And they say that Vegas has problems with prospects.
