Guess what time it is, Vegas Golden Knights fans? It's time to talk about shots! Let's have Lil' Jon take it away and get the ball rolling!

YEAH! Now we're ready to talk about shots and who's the leader for the Golden Knights all-time. Before we get to this, let's emphasize the importance of firing the puck at the net.

You can't win a hockey game without scoring goals. How does one score goals? They do this by firing a shot (YEAH) at the net. Often, it's the forward who does the dirty work most of the time, although defensemen are known to shoot the puck. The more shots a team fires at the net, the more chances they'll have at scoring goals. That seems like an obvious take but it still rings true.

So who's the franchise leader in this illustrious category? Is it Jonathan Marchessault who lays claim to other records (including this one) as a Golden Knight? Perhaps it's the Captain, Mark Stone, and his penchant for running the offense. Maybe it's Max Pacioretty? Whatever the case, it's time to party, Golden Knights-style, as we fire off some shots. Here's the all-time leader for Vegas in shots.

Jonathan Marchessault is the franchise leader in shots all-time for the Vegas Golden Knights

At this point, it shouldn't shock anyone. Still, Jonathan Marchessault has the most shots all-time for the Vegas Golden Knights with 1,708. In fact, nobody else is close to the "Original Misfit." Sitting in second place is Shea Theodore with 1,172, the most for a defenseman. He's followed by his fellow "Misfit," William Karlsson, with 1,073.

Coming in fourth was Reilly Smith with 963, followed by Max Pacioretty with 820. Bringing up the rear are Alex Pietrangelo (sixth with 664), Jack Eichel (seventh with 634), and Mark Stone (eighth with 621). Rounding out the top ten is William Carrier, sitting ninth with 604 shots, and Alex Tuch. The current Buffalo Sabre is tenth all-time in the category with 591.

But who has the most in a single season? That would be Pacioretty, who fired off 307 pucks in 2019-20. Marchessault and Eichel tied for second with 278, where the "Misfit" achieved this in 2018-19 and the Massachusetts native did this in 2023-24. Bizarrely enough, Marchessault holds the fourth (268 in 2017-18), fifth (266 in 2023-24), sixth (251 in 2021-22), seventh (235 in 2019-20), and eighth (234 in 2022-23) spots on the list. It's no wonder he leads the category by a wide margin. Lil' Jon must've loved hanging out with the winger.
