Other notable names to watch for

Pavel Dorofeyev is another name to watch for with the Vegas Golden Knights. The Russian star scored 13 goals and 11 assists in 47 games, displaying growth in his game. He's a restricted free agent who's eligible for arbitration. With the Golden Knights facing an exodus of players becoming free agents, getting Dorofeyev back will help fill a spot.

Vegas can replace outgoing players like Michael Amadio with him, making the offseason less stressful. Dorofeyev's progress could also help the team further, replacing outgoing production with another star. But he won't be the only player to watch for in the upcoming offseason.

Will the Golden Knights stick with other internal options to replace the outgoing talent? Will names like Paul Cotter and Brendan Brisson get promoted and ease the offseason spending? It's more likely that Cotter gets more playing time based on his NHL experience. However, any upcoming talent can make the offseason easier, even helping retain key players like Jonathan Marchessault.
