The Vegas Golden Knights are no strangers to excellent fan service. They've given their fanbase an exclusive viewing app to watch every game (not nationally televised) on the Knighttime Plus app. The on-ice product has also been excellent, delivering two Stanley Cup Final appearances and a championship. However, Bill Foley and company aren't done giving the fans what they want.
The Golden Knights have launched a new app (available in iOS and arriving soon on Google Play) for hockey fans in Las Vegas. The app will let fans purchase tickets for home games and deliver the latest news and notifications. It'll also serve as a map for fans attending the game, helping them navigate T-Mobile Arena.
"Our fans will love this all-in-one app that will serve them well, whether at T-Mobile Arena, streaming our games or looking ahead to the next battle. We appreciate the partnership with another Vegas Born company in Everi and look forward to the continued growth of this platform moving forward."Golden Knights CEO Kerry Bubolz
Foley and crew have even added a daily word game, giving Golden Knights fans the ultimate fan experience. Through its partnership with Everi, Vegas will make life easier for the fanbase in a mobile aspect, whether they want to watch the latest game or entertain themselves for a bit. It's good being a Golden Knights fan these days.
It's part of an ongoing mission to give Vegas Golden Knights fans the ultimate experience
Bill Foley and the Vegas Golden Knights have gone beyond starting up an app for hockey fans in the desert. They've also expanded their reach in the region, gaining a couple of stations in Arizona. Capitalizing on the newfound territory in the Phoenix region (and the state of Arizona, in general) gives the Golden Knights more exposure throughout the country.
But that's not all. Vegas has been a competitive team since its inception, giving fans extra incentive to download the app. It doesn't matter if it's buying tickets for the next rivalry game with San Jose or watching the home team play the Toronto Maple Leafs. The latest app will enhance the fan experience and steer fans towards the mobile experience, where they can access everything from the palm of their hands.
It's no wonder the Golden Knights have become a bigger attraction in recent years. They've hired the right coaches (i.e. Bruce Cassidy) and have gotten fans an optimal substitute for viewing hockey games (i.e. Knighttime Plus). Yes, these things aren't perfect. But they don't have to be, especially when your owner constantly works to enhance the hockey-viewing experience.
