Matyas Sapovailv

Another Vegas Golden Knights prospect who's done well in the amateur scene has been Matyas Sapovaliv. Like Carl Lindbom, Sapovaliv has done well in the lower levels, putting fans on notice with his stellar play. His most recent appearance was with the Saginaw Spirit, where the franchise won the Memorial Cup. It capped off a successful stint with the Spirit, with the center scoring 19 goals and 43 assists in 54 games.

What makes him special is his scoring touch; he has soft hands and is a facilitator in any space. Sapovaliv is also a reliable two-way player who's strong on the puck. These qualities will make him a great offensive player for the Golden Knights, specifically with his playmaking sense.

However, there are some things that Matyas Sapovaliv can improve. For example, he's not the best skater on the ice. He moves around in a lumbering fashion, with his skating motion clunky. If the center can improve his stride and skate with more power, Sapovaliv can become a better all-around player.
