Projecting Mark Stone's 2024-25 stat line with the Vegas Golden Knights

Let's say for argument's sake that Mark Stone plays the full 82-game slate with the Vegas Golden Knights this season. No freak injuries or odd accidents keep him out of the NHL rink. The Golden Knights steer him from walking under any ladders and avoid heinous voodoo tricks. How does his stat line look in a full 2024-25 campaign?

Stone should score 24 goals and 39 assists in a whole 82-game season this year. He can play in high-danger situations and handles any offensive situation easily. That's what makes him a special player, where the Golden Knights can trust his offensive acumen to lead the way. Of course, this is an optimistic prediction. However, But what about the power play, a unit that's plagued Vegas throughout their history? How will he do on this unit?

He brings grit and passion for hockey wherever he goes, which makes his game appealing. However, Stone can boost his production if things break a certain way, whether it's a top-line injury or a new acquisition. Whatever the case, it can cover the sudden scoring deficiency Vegas has at the forward position (at least, on paper).

Stone should score five goals and 12 assists in a full campaign, adding more bite to the unit. With new pieces like Tomas Hertl and Noah Hanifin joining the unit, everyone will benefit from having fresh blood on the front lines. That includes the Captain, who should have a full arsenal for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
