The Vegas Golden Knights care a lot about their fans. Whether it's "Gold Carpet" events to kick off the season or Stanley Cup watch parties outside the arena, the Knights are one-of-a-kind. That includes regular season watch parties.

I went to such an event on Monday, when the Vegas Golden Knights went to the state of New Jersey to take on the Devils. It took place at Nacho Daddy in Summerlin, where there was a sizable crowd on hand. Nachos and margaritas?? Sign us up!

1. What Was At the Watch Party?

There was plenty of excitement at the Vegas Golden Knights watch party itself. The event had a couple of Vegas Vivas, Chance the mascot, a live DJ, and a raffle. It felt like an actual home game with a solid mixture of music, ranging from Sugarhill Gang to Jennifer Lopez.

As for the drinks, there was a shot every time the Vegas Golden Knights scored a goal. A bartender would pour Pink Whitney into a tiny shot glass, which was the size of a quarter. And boy, there were plenty o' Golden Knight goals.

Vegas netted five goals in the game, which meant everyone was getting wasted. That was especially true in the second period, when the Golden Knights scored four times.

On top of that, there was a "Scorpion Shot." Often a challenge for guests, this shot is put in a four-inch glass and features a real, edible scorpion. If Golden Knight fans want to prove their moxie, this is how you'd do it! Just don't get stung on the tongue.

2. The Golden Knights Watch Party Experience

For me, it was similar to the watch parties I go to for the 49er games. There's a good amount of people there and there was a raffle. Speaking of which, I won that raffle, taking home the first prize! I won three hangable banners, a rally towel, and a t-shirt in a bag. I should probably see about getting a lotto ticket.

There was a guy next to me named David, who was also watching the game. He was a friendly dude, but a bit over-the-top and pushy at times. Still, it was nice to hang out with him, and he even offered me a drink. We also saw the guy to the right of me take the "Scorpion Shot." He was a trooper and didn't flinch one bit. I'd say that was a success.

I was surprised at how many goals were scored throughout the game. Jonathan Marchessault extended his goal streak to four, but he wasn't the one who had a hat trick. That honor would go to Tyler Toffoli, who even netted the game-winner for New Jersey. It was a 6-5 loss in OT for the Golden Knights, but it still was a fun time. That's especially true with my raffle prize!

3. Nacho Daddy Itself

Full disclosure: I've never been to Nacho Daddy before. But they had a wide array of menu items, including various alcohol beverages and Mexican foods. There's certainly nothing wrong with these in any capacity.

We were offered a handful of milk chocolate balls once the third period came to a close. A nice little snack to hold us over and keep our energy up. We would need it for this barnburner of a game, where defense wasn't allowed.

As for the food itself? Amazing. Numerous nacho platters, mini carne asada flour tortilla tacos, and delicious appetizers made the menu even more appealing. If you're looking to get your Mexican food kick in, this would be the place to do it.

4. Would I Do This Again?

Absolutely! I would love to go out to a Golden Knights watch party and watch Vegas go on the road. As mentioned earlier, it felt like a home game. Plus, the Golden Knights got a point out of the affair. I would definitely want to bring a few people and meet more Vegas Golden Knight fans.

If you're a fan of the Vegas Golden Knights, it's worth getting down to the watch parties. There's great food, awesome people, and plenty o' things to do. After all, Vegas could use your spirit and commitment!
