It's been an incredible week for Vegas Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon. Not only has he acquired forward Anthony Mantha, but he also added defenseman Noah Hanifin. The Golden Knights are set to win another Stanley Cup, repeating as the champions for the first time since the Tampa Bay Lightning (2020-2021).

So what will the Vegas Golden Knights do for an encore? They could acquire another forward at the trade deadline, causing collective heads to explode. Enter Jordan Eberle, the Seattle Kraken winger, who can provide a bigger spark to the Golden Knights offense. What will it take to get the native of Regina, Canada to Sin City?

1. Jordan Eberle's Scouting Report

The main benefit you're getting with Jordan Eberle is consistency. The native of Regina, Canada, has a penchant for getting to the net, coming in like a wrecking ball. He's a threat in front of the net, where he makes a goalie's life a nightmare.

That's why he has 14 goals to his name this season. Eberle does whatever it takes to get a goal, winning numerous puck battles along the way. The team also benefits from the winger controlling the puck, as proven by his Corsi for% in all situations. Never has he dipped below 50% in this category, proving his impact on the ice.

2. Who Else Wants Jordan Eberle?

Aside from the Vegas Golden Knights, Jordan Eberle could fit in numerous slots. One area he's being looked at is New York, where the Big Apple has plenty o' suitors. Whether it's Manhattan with the New York Rangers or a Long Island reunion with the Islanders, Eberle could benefit from playing in the biggest city in the United States.

Other teams linked to the 33-year-old include the Edmonton Oilers and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jordan Eberle has traction on the trade market, with his playmaking skills being a boon for whoever acquires him. But will the Seattle Kraken get him out for a good deal?

3. The Trade Proposal for Jordan Eberle

Jordan Eberle is due $5.5 million for the rest of the season, which means one thing: salary retention. If the Golden Knights trade for Eberle, it'll mean possibly getting another team involved to take on his salary. After all, it's been the trend for this trade deadline.

Which team could take on the salary? Here, I'll say the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have salary cap space galore. The trade deadline motif gets bumped again, as the Golden Knights swing another trade by paying less than intended. This time, it'll be with the Seattle Kraken.

It's no secret the Vegas Golden Knights want to make another move. Acquiring Mantha and Hanifin isn't enough for the defending Stanley Cup champions, especially with their current slump. Therefore, all options are on the table for McCrimmon and company at the trade deadline.
