Golden Knights fans, beware the Florida man
This is a destination that sounds extremely enticing. For one, the Florida Panthers are playing well right now. They're one win from returning to the Stanley Cup Finals and currently have a good team. Granted, they have a wave of unrestricted free agents this offseason (11). However, the Miami-area team is an entertaining group to watch.
Of course, the Miami nightlife does sound appealing for Vegas Golden Knights fans. After all, who doesn't love a South Beach party? However, the Panthers are located in Sunrise, which is closer to Fort Lauderdale (10.7 miles, akin to roughly 23 minutes). Who knows? They might get to see the reigning Stanley Cup champions playing against Vegas.
If Golden Knights fans aren't encountering any wild Florida men fighting alligators, they should check out the Everglades. They can get a good boat tour of the iconic scenery or even snorkel on the reefs. With Vegas hockey fans hoping to relive the glory days of last season's run, there's nothing better than going to Florida during the wintertime for a Stanley Cup Finals rematch.
