Anthony Duclair, RW, Tampa Bay Lightning
Anthony Duclair was floated as a trade candidate possibility for the Vegas Golden Knights in March. He would've come in as a cheap rental, helping the Golden Knights build their forward depth. However, that didn't materialize as Vegas added Tomas Hertl, Anthony Mantha, and Noah Hanifin. But there's a chance the Golden Knights could get the 28-year-old in free agency.
The Quebec native has 24 goals and 18 assists this season, making him a valuable forward piece. Five of those goals came on the power play, an area the Golden Knights have needed help with for the longest time possible. As a result, it's made him a noteworthy name in free agency.
Duclair is also improving in other aspects of his game, including playing better away from the puck. The former San Jose Shark skates fast and is an offensive weapon. He creates his own shots and has improved his handwork, making him a much better player.
Of course, he's a bit undersized at 5'11" and only weighs 197 lbs. Therefore, he might be limited in his role. However, Anthony Duclair has proven himself to improve at the wing, which will make him a viable option for the Golden Knights. That's especially true if they want to add a power play specialist and speed skater.
