Edmonton Oilers: New socks for Connor McDavid
Numerous Vegas Golden Knights fans want to send Connor McDavid (15 goals, 45 points) and the Edmonton Oilers lumps of coal for Christmas. The two teams don't like each other and always play a competitive game. Besides, why would you want to give your rival anything worthwhile for the holidays?
Instead, let's give McDavid a new pair of socks for the holidays. When they look something like this, it's bound to scare the children.
So... Connor McDavid has apparently been wearing the same pair of socks for every game 🤢

While we're at it, let's get him a new taste in licorice. How about the original red flavor instead of black licorice? You don't want people getting the wrong idea that you eat other people for sport. Gary Bettman would lose his mind and the rest of the world would be grossed out.
Seattle Kraken: Some good expansion juju from the Golden Knights
The Seattle Kraken haven't been as successful as the Vegas Golden Knights or Edmonton Oilers in recent years. They only have one Stanley Cup playoff appearance since 2021-22, beating the Colorado Avalanche along the way.
The NHL would love to see Seattle thrive as a hockey market (especially since the Seattle Mariners almost never make the postseason). So why not give them some good expansion team juju from the earlier years? The Golden Knights know a thing or two about postseason success, making two Stanley Cup Final appearances and winning the title in 2023. Maybe get Chandler Stephenson (three goals in 33 games) some goals while you're at it.
