The 2024-25 regular season has wrapped up and the Vegas Golden Knights shift their attention to the Minnesota Wild. It's time to reunite with Marc-Andre Fleury one more time before he retires into the sunset with his horse. The goal? Win another Stanley Cup and watch 31 other fanbases refill Lake Mead with their salty tears.

In the meantime, it's time to look back at the season that was, well, surprising for many critics. Countless people were expecting the Golden Knights to fall behind the Edmonton Oilers in the Pacific Division. Fans of 31 other teams were hoping the downfall would result in missing the Stanley Cup playoffs. Well...

The Golden Knights made the Stanley Cup playoffs for the seventh time in eight seasons. Not only that, but they won their fourth Pacific Division title in franchise history. They finished with 110 points, marking the third time in franchise history that they finished with more than 100 points. Guess what happened when Vegas won the Pacific Division and got more than 100 points?

I'll let you put the pieces together. You might need Bad News Barrett to tell the 31 other teams.

In the meantime, it's time to look back and see how the team did. Let's grade the Golden Knights based on each positional group. That means forwards, defensemen, and goaltending will be examined under a microscope. Which group did the best? Who stands to improve? Who has a chance for another solid season in 2025-26?
