Before watching the United States take on Denmark in the 2026 Winter Olympics, I stumbled upon a streamer playing Pokémon Emerald. I figured that I'd watch something from my childhood and enjoy a streamer playing a game. Well, things are going well as he has a Hariyama and an Arcanine out on the field.
The problem is that he's deciding on a move and trying to figure out his first move. It was rolled out to 20 minutes before he eventually made a move. Just imagine something like this.
Still, he hasn't made a decision. It's like watching the Vegas Golden Knights on the ol' power play, where they're passing 100 times before shooting. Imagine a Golden Knights power play on 100 times the steroids. Like, bro, shoot the puck. Or in this case, attack the Pokémon.
Speaking of Golden Knights, Mark Stone and Mitch Marner have found a new buddy during the 2026 Winter Olympics. With Jack Eichel shooting fireworks into the sky while playing "Free Bird," the two Canadian superstars needed a new buddy. Lo and behold, they seem to have found it.
Crosby-Marner-Stone is just nasty.

It makes perfect sense, too. Crosby has carved his name out as a hockey legend, scoring 652 goals and 1,094 assists in his illustrious 21-year career. He's also won three Stanley Cups, two Hart Memorial Trophies, and two Art Ross Trophies. What better company to have than a generational talent like Crosby on your line?
What makes Team Canada's line of Mark Stone, Mitch Marner, and Sidney Crosby work so well?
The main thing that stands out with the Marner-Stone-Crosby line is the amount of hockey intelligence on one line. Crosby is similar to Stone in many facets, starting with his ability to read the ice. He knows how to attack different defensive formations, planning the attack before it happens.
When you have two players who know how to set up positionally, a player like Crosby becomes even more dangerous. All three players can read defenses with ease and set up plays in the offensive zone. In turn, it causes chaos for opposing defenses, whether you're drawing the netminder out of position or you find an opening.
You can even say that Crosby has those same positioning skills as Stone and Marner. That was proven on Friday, as he scored on a Marner feed. With two Golden Knights on your line, you can outsmart and outwit your opponents before the play even happens. How amazing is that?
Of course, that comes with having arguably the deepest forward pool in the Olympics. Hockey fans and experts have lauded how deep Canada runs its lines and have even pointed to their death-star power play units. When you're able to run units with Nathan MacKinnon and Connor McDavid, the world's literally your oyster.
It's also why Canada's considered a heavy favorite in the Olympics. Having seasoned veterans on one line can do serious damage to your opponents. It's what makes Crosby, Stone, and Marner especially dangerous: they waste no time making decisions and attacking you. The Pokémon streamer, on the other hand...
