Gerard Gallant isn't the only person formerly from the Vegas Golden Knights organization heading to Shanghai. He's also joined by two other former members.

It appears that Gerard Gallant will have some company with the Shanghai Dragons. The former Vegas Golden Knights head coach will be joined by fellow ex-Golden Knights, Jake Bischoff and Gage Quinney, in the KHL.

Fans will remember the former NHL head coach leading the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural season. Overall, he had an interesting three seasons with the NHL club, compiling a record of 118-75-20. He earned 256 points during his tenure (.601) and had a playoff record of 16-11.

As for Bischoff and Quinney, they've remained tenured within the organization's lower levels. Bischoff had no points in four NHL games with the Golden Knights, while Quinney has an assist in three games with Vegas. But both are more decorated at the AHL level, with Quinney even earning the "assistant captain" label with the Henderson Silver Knights.

Here, he has 114 goals and 166 assists in eight seasons (383 games) within the AHL. That included a stellar 2022-23 campaign where he scored 25 goals and 39 assists in 66 games with Henderson.

As for Bischoff? He was Henderson's Captain for the last two seasons. But the Grand Rapids, Minnesota, native isn't as prolific of an offensive figure as Quinney, scoring 27 goals and 83 assists in nine AHL seasons.

Perhaps Gallant's new journey into Asia won't be as bad as initially thought. He'll have some company from the Golden Knights organization, giving him some much-needed comfort.

It can be unsettling whenever you go into a new setting. You don't know many people and will feel isolated from the rest of the world. However, Gallant should feel better knowing that two other Golden Knights pieces will join him, easing his tensions in China.
