It seems like the Vegas Golden Knights can't catch a break, especially with their new goaltender, Carter Hart. After Hart had a spectacular performance against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday with 27 saves and a win, the netminder suffered a minor setback.
What could this little inconvenience be, you ask? Well, he suffered a lower-body injury. Believe it or not, he suffered that injury on Tuesday against the Blackhawks.
Carter Hart is day to day with a lower body injury, according to the Vegas Golden Knights.

The goaltender returned to action after being on a hockey hiatus for nearly two years. Hart has spent his career with the Philadelphia Flyers for six seasons. He has a GAA of 2.94 and a save percentage of .906 in his career, providing goaltending stability for the Flyers.
As for the Golden Knights, they're already dealing with another goaltending injury with Adin Hill being out. However, his isn't of the day-to-day variety, for he doesn't have a set return date yet.
Vegas Golden Knights fans are somewhat skeptical that Carter Hart is out on a day-to-day basis
I want to explain some Golden Knights lore to hockey fans of the 31 other teams. You see, Vegas has a funny way of doing things in its world. Whenever a player is given a specific injury designation, expect that player to be out longer than said given designation.
Let's take William Karlsson as a perfect example. He's currently on long-term injured reserve with a lower-body injury. While he was initially deemed on a week-to-week basis, it's been nearly a month since he's been out. That probably means that a player in his situation isn't coming back in three weeks.
If you're month-to-month? Well, your people better wear all black the next time you see them. I'm sorry, but that's the way that Vegas designations (allegedly) work. Ask any Golden Knights fan about this and they'll tell you.
As for Hart? Well, that could apply here, too. Obviously, there are extracurricular activities involved. However, the Golden Knight "rules" could apply here, specifically with the injury bug flying around. Let's hope that he gets back on the ice soon.
