I want you to sit down for a second. Loosen your shoulders and relax. Breathe through your nostrils.
Clear your head of any negative thoughts (yes, I know you've had them!).
Breathe in. Count to 10. Breathe out.
Again, breathe in. Count to 10. Breathe out.
Doesn't it feel good?
It feels even better for the Vegas Golden Knights, who defeated the Minnesota Wild in overtime, 4-3. It took a high-sticking double minor from Zeev Buium in the third period to swing the momentum in Vegas's favor. It also took 46 shots and lots of offensive zone time to get the job done. But a win is a win. Here's how the story goes.
Down 2-1, the Golden Knights needed a prayer. They needed a gift. Anything! Whatever life was willing to throw at them, they would take it. That's when Nicolas Roy answered the call for Vegas. Amidst the chaos in front of Filip Gustavsson, all it took was Roy to rip a wrister from the high slot to tie the game.
Suddenly, the momentum swung to Fremont Street. Brett Howden almost took the lead with a toe drag on Gustavsson moments later. But Tomas Hertl continued a great series run, taking the lead on his own. But that was short-lived thanks to a Jared Spurgeon wraparound. We head into overtime.

It took a penalty kill to get the momentum back. That's when the Golden Knights generated more than enough offensive zone time for Ivan Barbashev to hammer home the game-winner.

Don't forget to breathe, Las Vegas. The Golden Knights are fine.
Breathe, Golden Knights fans. It's a whole new series against the Minnesota Wild
The Stanley Cup playoffs are fun for hockey fans worldwide. It offers butt-clenching action and intense moments, making it miles above the competition. That's what Game 4 had between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Minnesota Wild.
It was one team bouncing around thanks to Matt Boldy and Kirill Kaprizov, giving the State of Hockey hope. They were hoping to crush the Stanley Cup dreams of a heavy favorite, using an aggressive forecheck to get there. They were rolling after the first two periods before the favorites fought back and won.

Is the series over? No. Not by a long shot. Now, it's a best-of-three series. However, home-ice advantage has drastically shifted back to the Golden Knights. Now, the ball's in their court and they have the ultimate "opportunity" to shut the door.
It's up to the gang to win two more games to move on to the next round. However, it's a terrific confidence-builder for a team desperately needing one. Moments like this define a team's run, pushing them closer to the ultimate goal. For the Golden Knights, Game 4 is the perfect chance to carry that momentum and move ahead.
Everything's going to be fine, Las Vegas. Let's capitalize on this "golden" opportunity and win the series. There's work to be done in the next week.
