The playlist for Dallas

Pantera

Personally, this is the go-to band for heading to a Stars game. Why? Well, it's because the band has "Puck Off" as the official goal song for the Stars. The Texas metal band has other bangers to choose from, including "Walk," "Cowboys From Hell," "Cemetery Gates," and "Floods."

Dolly Parton

Obviously, everyone thinks of the classic song, "Jolene," as a good song to play. But the country legend also has "Islands in the Stream," "9 to 5," and "I Will Always Love You," as other solid selections for the pre-game trip.

Creed

Fun fact: "Higher" was the official theme of the Texas Rangers' 2023 World Series run. It unified North Texas and brought the franchise its first title in its long history. However, that's not the only song you should sing before the Stars play. "My Sacrifice," "With Arms Wide Open," and "My Own Prison" are great picks here.

George Strait

Another legendary country singer to put on your playlist. Strait has a number of great hits that you can bump before a Texas-style hockey game. That includes "Here For A Good Time," "Write This Down," and "Check Yes Or No."

Garth Brooks

Obviously, you know the mega hit that is always sung at a bar on a Friday night. I'm talking about "Friends In Low Places" and yes, this better be playing before you head to American Airlines Center. But don't forget about "Where Your Road Leads" and "Shallow" as a part of that playlist, too!
