Believe it or not, there are some viable names on the free agent market. Here are four players that come to mind for the Golden Knights to consider.

Golden Knights fans have grown accustomed to seeing their general manager make various moves. They've seen Kelly McCrimmon get the best player in this year's free agent market, bolstering their top line in the process.

Now? Jack Eichel has his buddy that he's been seeking for so long. Suddenly, you're back in the Stanley Cup conversation, leaving fans crying foul while cooking up some wild conspiracies.

Ah, hockey fans. You gotta love what's brewing in the ol' noggin.

But if you thought McCrimmon wouldn't stop there, think again. Suddenly, he's also in on Rasmus Andersson who--surprise!--wants to come to Las Vegas. Everything's coming up Vegas this summer.

But let's say he doesn't get his other big fish. Let's say that he misses out on the opportunity to get a solid two-way defenseman. Oh well. There's always the trade deadline, where McCrimmon will lurk like a shark in blood-infested waters (not from San Jose).

Let's give him four remaining free agent targets for him to pursue. These players can be used for many purposes, whether it's for depth or filling a void on the blue line. Heck, there's even a reunion from last season in the works! Let's dive into the four remaining free agents that McCrimmon should consider for fun.

1.) Victor Olofsson

Golden Knights fans are familiar with Olofsson's game. The Swedish winger scored 15 goals and 14 assists, adding lower-line bulk to the team. He also contributed to the second-best power play in the league, scoring six power play goals.

With a hard shot and a sniper mentality, Olofsson could be what the doctor ordered for a team looking for scoring depth. The price tag might be the biggest concern for a potential reunion. However, Kelly McCrimmon's been known to make hometown discounts work in his favor.

2.) Jack Roslovic

If the Golden Knights aren't interested in keeping Colton Sissons for the upcoming season, Jack Roslovic could be a name to watch. The center scored 22 goals and 17 assists last season, adding a lower-line punch to the Carolina Hurricanes.

At the ripe ol' age of 28, he's still quick and is still learning how to put the pieces together. Of course, consistency is an issue with Roslovic, where he can go on cold streaks. However, Olofsson had the same issue and still contributed at a solid clip.

Plus, Toronto's interested in the center. What better way to anger them than picking off the free agent target?

3.) Andreas Athanasiou

Andreas Athanasiou might be far from his 20-goal-scoring days as a Detroit Red Wing. However, it doesn't hurt to have somebody who can act as a depth piece.

After all, he scored 11 goals and 16 assists with the Rockford Ice Hogs last season. The 30-year-old can play the wing and the center position. He also has a speedy side, making him valuable in the transition game.

One major sticking point is that he doesn't engage enough in the game. That could rub Bruce Cassidy the wrong way and lead to Athanasiou being in Cassidy's dog house. Still, the former Red Wing would be a nice depth-piece signing if given the chance.

4.) Matt Grzelyck

Last season, Matt Grzelyck scored 39 assists with the Pittsburgh Penguins. 39! He also provided a shot-blocking side to the Penguins, blocking 101 shots.

The one downside is he's 5'10", making him a misfit in the team's pursuit of size. But that key word is something to watch for! Being a "misfit" could provide a proverbial chip on the shoulder, giving the 31-year-old something to prove.
