2.) Brandon Tanev
Brandon Tanev might be a tad older than Raddysh is (the Jets winger is 33). But that doesn't mean he isn't worth a try. Tanev scored 10 goals and 12 assists this past season, making him a valuable lower-line player.
The winger also works for every puck in front of him, forechecking and blazing past defenders. He's also an effective penalty killer who can score shorthanded. Not only is he a viable replacement for Victor Olofsson, but he would also be a suitable replacement for Reilly Smith.
Imagine Tanev and William Karlsson (IF he's not traded) rushing down the ice together on a "power kill." That's something that would have opposing teams quaking in their skates.
He's viewed in many circles as having an estimated cap hit below $2 million, which makes life easier. Sure, he might be smaller, standing at 6'0" and weighing 189 pounds. However, Victor Olofsson is 5'11", which doesn't make much of a difference.
Oh, and he has 1,588 career hits. Appreciate the physical play, folks!
