3 things I want to see at the 2025 Battle 4 Vegas

Saturday will be the first time I've ever been to the Battle 4 Vegas event. Here are three things I'd love to see.

The Battle 4 Vegas is coming up on July 12 and it offers plenty of fun. It's a softball battle between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Las Vegas Raiders in a, well, battle to win Las Vegas. It's also a fun charity game where the winning team donates to local charities.

Will Brock Bowers and company reign supreme? Or will it be Jack Eichel and the boys in gold? Stay tuned because the action goes down at 7 PM at Las Vegas Ballpark.

Full disclosure: this will be the first time I've ever gone to the event. Of course, I've been to Las Vegas Ballpark for numerous Aviator games in the past. But this will be a new experience that I'm certainly not going to forget.

With that comes three things I'd love to see at the event. What would I love to see happen while at Battle 4 Vegas? Who do I want to see stand out during the game?

1.) Ryan Reaves to hit a home run

Ryan Reaves is in an interesting pickle. He's now a San Jose Shark after years of bashing the organization and everything it stands for. It's an irony that may or may not be delicious, depending on how you slice it.

Still, I want to see Reaves smack a home run for the home crowd. He's been a tenured Golden Knights since the first season and has taken on every evil adversary. It didn't matter if it was Evander Kane or Tom Wilson. He owes it to the fans to give them a dinger.

2.) I'd love to see a lot of runs

A major part of why these events are fun is because it contains light-hearted fun. It's a battle between two legendary franchises and for a good cause. All of this happens in the backdrop of Summerlin at beautiful Las Vegas Ballpark.

Therefore, there must be a ton of runs. Why go to something if you're not going to have a blast? Having two to five runs in a softball game is no fun!

Welcome to Battle 4 Vegas, where everyone has fun and the pitching doesn't matter!

3.) I want to see the Vegas Golden Knights win

Of course, this goes without saying. But everyone should want to see Vegas's OG team win it all here.

No disrespect to the Las Vegas Raiders, who have a storied history and plenty of star power heading into the NFL season. I hope you have a successful year and dominate the league.

But I'm simply more inclined to root for the guys in gold. They're the main reason why I'm out in Las Vegas in the first place. Without the Golden Knights, where would a person like me be? Therefore, go Knights go!
