The Golden Knights are coming off back to back wins against two of the Eastern Conference’s best teams in the Carolina Hurricanes and New Jersey Devils. Now they have a home date with the Montreal Canadiens in what will be the final game at the Fortress before their challenging five game road trip. One of the key things to look for in the game against the Canadiens is the guy who will be in net.

For the first time since being acquired in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets before the trade deadline, Jonathan Quick will man the net in Sunday’s contest. Quick last saw the net when the Kings were dismantled 5-2 on February 28. Quick surrendered four goals on seven shots before being pulled in the second in favor of Phoenix Copley. This season, Quick is 11-13-4 with one shutout while sporting an .876 save percentage and a 3.50 goals against average. Getting traded not once but twice might just be the medicine Quick needs to turn his season around.

On the injury front, William Carrier is out indefinitely with a lower body injury. Carrier was injured during Friday’s game against the Devils involving a hit by Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton in the first period.
