Golden Knights Get Second Shot at the Winnipeg Jets
The Vegas Golden Knights are back with yet another game and are going to be looking to reverse their fortune from last night.
The Vegas Golden Knights are back tonight against the Winnipeg Jets and will be looking to reverse their fortune from last night.
Yesterday night the Vegas Golden Knights played against the Minnesota Wild, in Minnesota. After playing a hard fought game, they were unable to get on the scoreboard and lost the game. The Wild were without a doubt the more healthy of the two teams, but the Knights still should’ve found a way to win that game. Anyways, today is a new day and they will be looking rebound against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Golden Knights had just faced off against the Jets not that long ago, and well, it was not a pretty game by any stretch. The Golden Knights start off really strong, but then they collapsed and unfortunately got blown out in a bad loss. But as I said above, tonight is a new night, and that game is in the past.
So, looking at tonight’s game, what will the lines look like?

Vegas Golden Knights Injury Updates
The Vegas Golden Knights have been one of the most injury prone teams in the NHL this season. With players like Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty spending more time on the LTIR than playing, it’s been hard for them to find a form of consistency. But, with that being said, there are always updates. So who is going to be out for tonight’s game?
Players on the IR
Mark Stone: Mark Stone will not be returning tonight, or probably even within the month. Stone was dealing with multiple injuries before being placed on the LTIR, and so his absence will remain true.
Max Pacioretty: Max Pacioretty was recently just placed on the IR yet again. Dealing with an injury, it sounds as though Pacioretty won’t be returning till the beginning of next month at the earliest.
Reilly Smith: Reilly Smith was a weird story for a little bit. However, it was reported that he was in fact injured and was going to be placed on the IR for the foreseeable future. His return date is unknown at the moment. But I would expect him to return in early April.
Alec Martinez: Alec Martinez was seen practicing all week with the Golden Knights and was wearing a grey jersey. However, given the organizations comments, it sounds like it’ll be awhile before we’ll see him back on the ice.
Brayden McNabb: Brayden McNabb was recently placed on IR after leaving early against the Bruins. More than likely he is going out for a week or two while he recovers. But, in his absence, he will have players ready to take his spot.
Robin Lehner: Robin Lehner is projected to be returning soon, but that day won’t be tonight. Lehner has been battling injuries recently, and it’s best if the coaches would let him heal and get fully healthy before putting him back out there. We need to make sure the Knights are healthy and especially the goalies.
