Golden Knights Trading For Filip Forsberg Would Make Sense

So, in order for the Golden Knights to trade for Filip Forsberg, the Knights will likely have to give up prospects and/or younger players. They want to make a push for the playoffs just like the Golden Knights, but the Golden Knights could walk away winners.

In order to make this trade worth-while, the Knights will have to give up one of the players they want to move. The name that comes to mind for me is Evgenii Dadonov.

Now, since Dadonov hasn’t exactly performed well this season, they are for sure going to want a top pick or prospect to go along with that.

So, the Golden Knights traded for Jack Eichel earlier this season which sent their first-round pick this year to the Buffalo Sabres. That trade gave the Knights a superstar center, but now they don’t have a first-round pick this year which means that the Predators would likely want Brendan Brisson.

So, I’d assume, that this is what we would be looking at.

If this trade would work for both sides, this would give the Knights some freed up cap space. Not to mention they’d be acquiring a proven superstar.
