The Vegas Golden Knights are back and are getting ready to take on the New York Rangers tonight at home. After losing out on multiple star players over the course of the last couple weeks, things have been rather stale in the locker room and on the ice. With guys like Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty, Nicolas Hague out of the lineup, things could be looking up.

The Vegas Golden Knights are coming off a loss to the Nashville Predators this past Tuesday, and are looking to rebound themselves. In Logan Thompsons first career start he showed promise, but it was clear that he needs to adapt to the next level before becoming a NHL caliber goalie. With that being said, it came clear just how much the Knights need a Robin Lehner/Laurent Brossoit combination.

Now, we don’t always get what we ask for as Knight fans, but in this case maybe we finally got something positive.

The Vegas Golden Knights are in a great spot in the Pacific Division but with guys like Robin Lehner, Mark Stone, Nicolas Hague, and Max Pacioretty dealing with injuries, they aren’t in as great of a spot looking forward. Or are they?

Prior to the game against the New York Rangers, it was reported that Robin Lehner was out on the ice along with Logan Thompson. Not reading into it too much, apparently that was the wrong choice.

With multiple reports coming in from guys like Jesse Granger, Justin Emerson, it has been confirmed that Robin Lehner is back and is starting for the Vegas Golden Knights tonight. It was unclear rather Thompson would get the start tonight or Lehner but I suppose that answers that question.

Lehner has started 24 games this season. In those 24 games that Lehner has played in he has won 14, lost nine. He has posted a 3.03 GAA this season along with a .905 save percentage as well. Hopefully after getting some time off, he’ll be ready to go again and he can help lead us to a win.
