The Vegas Golden Knights just made yet another big acquisition earlier this morning. In order to help get them into the playoffs, they felt as though they needed to make a big splash. It’s safe to say they did just that.
After trading away Peyton Krebs, and Alex Tuch, the Knights will now be on this roundtrips with even less players than they already did. However, it could be worth it with the Knights now having superstar, Jack Eichel.
Eichel has been hated on due to his “toxicity”, but look at the team he’s been playing with. Having morale and just accepting losing isn’t in his vocabulary and I like that he knew that environment wasn’t right for him. Now he is a Vegas Knight and could be a huge factor down the stretch this season.
Anyways, getting back on track. Now that the Knights are without Peyton Krebs as well as four other Knights in their forward lines, the Knights will have to make due with some of the players they currently still have tonight against the Ottawa Senators.
The Vegas Golden Knights are going to be taking on the Ottawa Senators tonight. However, what will their lines look like tonight?
Forwards
Jonathan Marchessault-Chandler Stephenson-Reilly Smith
Evgenii Dadonov-Mattias Janmark-William Carrier
Michael Amadio-Brett Howden-Nicolas Roy
Keegan Kolesar-Jake Leschyshyn-Jonas Rondbjerg
Defenseman
Nicolas Hague-Alex Pietrangelo
Shea Theodore-Alec Martinez
Brayden McNabb-Dylan Coghlan
Goalies
Robin Lehner
Laurent Brossoit
The Knights have been plagued by injuries and after this trade for Jack Eichel, they are losing perhaps their best healthy player. However, looking down the stretch, Eichel is going to be a important player for the Knights to have.
Around The League
On top of the Vegas Golden Knights taking on the Ottawa Senators tonight, there are also going to be multiple other games going on tonight. With that said, let’s take a look at some of the games.
Washington Capitals vs Florida Panthers
Philadelphia Flyers vs Pittsburgh Penguins
New York Islanders vs Montreal Canadiens
Detroit Red Wings vs Boston Bruins
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Toronto Maple Leafs
Dallas Stars vs Calgary Flames
Buffalo Sabres vs Seattle Kraken
St. Louis Blues vs San Jose Sharks
Vegas Golden Knights vs Ottawa Senators
So now that we talked about the games around the league, let’s get into the game your here to read about. The Vegas Knights are currently looking to prove to themselves and the fan base that they can win no matter what situation they are in, and this could be a good opportunity to display that.
