Dates: Nov. 6, Jan. 20

Similar to how I started this article, time to think back to last season. The Vegas Golden Knights will get their chance at beating the Canadiens on two different occasions this season. Last year the Canadiens-Vegas Knights series went to game seven, unfortunately, the Canadiens ended up coming out on top. However, it’s a new year and a new season. The Canadiens topped them when it mattered but can they top them this year.

When I mentioned the Avalanche earlier in this article, I mentioned how they are going to be facing the Knights with fire, and a chip on their shoulder. When you miss out on the chance to win the Stanley Cup by one game, that is going to put you in a situation where you’re going to want revenge. Even with it being a regular season game, you’re going to want revenge. The Knights struggled with scoring when it mattered, and they made sure to go out and address that with bringing in Evgenii Dadonov, and they also brought in a upside player in Nolan Patrick. There’s no guarantee the production you’ll get from them, but they went out and made the moves that they needed too.
