It is advantage Vegas Golden Knights after they took Game 3 from the Vancouver Canucks.

Robin Lehner stopped all 31 shots he faced for his second shutout of the postseason as the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Canucks 3-0 to go 2-1 up in the series.

Alex Tuch continued his dominance this postseason after getting Vegas on the board in the first period, before defenseman Zach Whitecloud recorded his second goal of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

And a vital Game 2 win was complete early in the third period when Mark Stone converted on the power play.

Let’s take you through the Sights & Sounds from Game 3 between the Golden Knights and the Vancouver Canucks…

Pitching the Shutout

Robin Lehner was sensational in Game 3.

After being letdown by his defense in Game 2, the elite goalie bounced back on Saturday and was the main reason why the Golden Knights took a 2-1 series lead.

Lehner stopped all 31 shots that he faced, including saving 16 shots on goal in the first period alone to really frustrate the Canucks.

He stepped up to help win this game on your own and you need your goalie to steal a game or two on his own in each series.

Lehner certainly did that in Game 3.

Snake-Bitten

This has been an up-and-down postseason for Max Pacioretty so far.

The veteran missed all of the round-robin games due to a lower-body injury, and he also missed Game 2 of Round 1 against the Chicago Blackhawks.

And Pacioretty had to leave Game 3 against the Canucks, although he was back on the bench in the third period.

But, and this goes without saying, the Golden Knights will hope that Pacioretty is able to stay on the ice and rediscover his form from the regular season.

Because, if he can, then it gives Vegas another potent weapon as they aim to try and win a ring this year.

Tuch Magic

What a postseason Alex Tuch is having.

After enduring an injury-ravaged regular season, the forward has bounced back in a big way and is showing once again why he could morph into one of the best power forwards in the NHL.

Minnesota Wild, look away now.

He’s found his groove again and he got Vegas on the board early in the first period with a real highlight reel goal.

Nicolas Roy, who is also having a great Stanley Cup Playoffs, got the puck from Alec Martinez and proceeded to send a superb saucer pass to Tuch who took it on his backhand before switching to his forehand and ripping a shot past Jacob Markstrom.

It was a hell of a shot and if the Golden Knights achieve their ultimate ambition of winning the Stanley Cup this year, then Tuch will be a key ingredient.

Going Top-Shelf

Zach Whitecloud emerged as a key piece on this roster under Head Coach Peter DeBoer during the regular season.

Known for his maturity and calmness in his own zone, Whitecloud played the role of a key shutdown defenseman and flashed plenty of promise.

However, the 23-year-old has added an extra weapon to his arsenal during the postseason.

Offense.

Whitecloud recorded his first career Stanley Cup Playoffs goal in the series against the Chicago Blackhawks, and he was at it again in Game 3 against the Canucks.

With Vancouver launching shot after shot on Robin Lehner, Whitecloud joined the rush, took a dish from Max Pacioretty before ripping a hell of a shot past Jacob Markstrom.

You need big contributions from your blueline throughout the course of a gruelling Stanley Cup Playoffs run, and Zach Whitecloud is certainly stepping up right now.

Stone Cold

Mark Stone is just money and it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, he will deliver.

End of.

And he was at peak Mark Stone again in Game 3, wrapping up things early in the third period with a power play goal.

Next. Golden Knights should ride hot hand. dark

Shea Theodore, who is an absolute weapon on the man advantage, fed a pass to Stone inside the circle and the forward picked his spot before unleashing a hell of a wrister past Jacob Markstrom.
