It all comes down to this for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Win today in Game 4 and the Vegas Golden Knights will sweep the Chicago Blackhawks and advance to the Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

It won’t be easy, though, and we saw in Game 3 on Saturday that the Blackhawks really put together their best hockey of the series.

The Skinny

Goals from William Karlsson and Patrick Brown, coupled with 26 saves from a brilliant Marc-Andre Fleury helped clinch victory in Game 3 for the Golden Knights.

It was far from a vintage performance from the Knights who were sloppy in a number of areas, while the Hawks played some of their best hockey of the series.

Expect the same this afternoon given that Chicago face a win-or-go-home situation, and they will be playing desperate hockey in order to stay alive for one more day.

Vegas will have to stay disciplined, something they didn’t go in Game 3, while they need to start clicking on the power play having not converted on the man advantage so far in this series.

Robin Lehner is expected to start in Game 4 for the Golden Knights.

Robin Lehner is expected to start in Game 4 in what is the second game of a back-to-back, something you don’t usually see in the Playoffs.

Paul Stastny and Tomas Nosek were both declared “Unfit to Play” for Game 3, although Stastny could be back for Game 4.

If not, the Golden Knights will have no concerns rolling with Patrick Brown who now has two goals in two games for Vegas after lighting the lamp in Game 3.
