Teams are starting to announce their rosters ahead of the 2020 World Junior Championships, and the Vegas Golden Knights will be well represented in the Czech Republic.

The tournament, which gets underway on Dec. 26, will feature a host of Vegas Golden Knights prospects.

A number of countries have revealed their rosters, and we decided to take a look at some of the prospects that will be flying the flag for the Golden Knights later this month.

Isaiah Saville – G – Team USA

Team USA announced their training camp roster on Monday and Vegas Golden Knights prospect Isaiah Saville will be one of three goalies out to impress.

Saville, the 135th overall pick by the Knights in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, will be hoping to make the final roster and represent his country in the Czech Republic.

The 19-year-old is playing his hockey for the University of Nebraska-Omaha this season, where he has a 2.96 Goals Against Average and a .890 Save Percentage in 12 games.

Saville will be competing with Calgary Flames prospect Dustin Wolf and Spencer Knight, who was considered the best goalie prospect in the 2019 NHL Draft, eventually going to the Florida Panthers with the 13th overall pick.

The Golden Knights will no doubt be pleased that Isaiah Saville is on the preliminary roster for Team USA, and it will only be good for his development if he does make the trip to Czech Republic.

Peyton Krebs – F – Team Canada

Team Canada will hold their selection camp starting from Monday, where they will choose a 22-man roster for the World Junior Championships from a pool of 31 players.

Peyton Krebs will be among those and it appears almost certain that he will travel to the Czech Republic as long as he has a good camp.

After all, Krebs was the 17th overall pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and could have arguably gone a lot higher if it were not for a torn achilles suffered during summer workouts.

And that is the biggest caveat here. Krebs has only recently returned to the ice, tallying 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in eight games with the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL.

The talent is clearly there and Krebs is also a leader, so as long as he continues to stay healthy then it is fair to assume that Krebs will be a lock for the Czech Republic tournament.

Pavel Dorofeyev – F – Team Russia

Taken with the 79th overall pick by the Golden Knights in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Pavel Dorofeyev has enjoyed a productive 2019-20 season far.

In three games with Stalnye Lisy Magnitogorsk in the MHL, Dorofeyev tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in three games.

And, in 36 games with Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL, the forward has four goals and three assists for seven points with a plus/minus rating of +3 in 36 games.

So, it is no surprise that Dorofeyev is on the Team Russia for the 2020 World Junior Championships, and he’ll be a player for the Vegas Golden Knights fans to keep an eye on.

A smooth skater with slick hands and a treasure chest of skills, Dorofeyev is a high-end prospect and the stage is set for the wing to light it up in the Czech Republic.
