2. Patch comes up clutch

The Vegas Golden Knights traded for Max Pacioretty because of his impressive body of work in the National Hockey League, coupled with what he brings to the table both on and off the ice.

And, boy, the Knights are really seeing the true value of Pacioretty right now.

Not only is he a leader in the locker room and on the ice, but Pacioretty has been a production machine so far this season and he’s on pace for arguably his best season since 2016-17, when he recorded 67 points.

Through 27 games this year, Pacioretty has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points, including nine points on the power play.

The forward has also delivered in big moments and he was at it again last night, taking the game on his stick and taking the game to overtime with a second on the board after sending a shot past Juuse Saros.

It was potentially a season-changing moment and it was another example of why Pacioretty is truly built for the big moments.

When the pressure is really on he has ice in his veins and it was a fitting moment given that Max Pacioretty has been the standout player for the Golden Knights so far this year.
