7. The Vegas Golden Knights

Boy, November has been a tough month for the Vegas Golden Knights and their Stanley Cup aspirations.

Yes, they currently sit fifth in the Pacific Division and are only five points off top spot, but they have dropped four straight, lost six of seven and they have a plethora of flaws to contend with.

They get elite goaltending from Marc-Andre Fleury who is 9-5-1 with a 2.68 GAA and a .914 Sv%, and it isn’t even worth thinking about what life would be like without the future Hall of Famer performing heroics between the pipes.

The Knights are loaded with offensive firepower but some of their big stars have slumped badly in November, including elite two-way forward Mark Stone who is now without a goal or an assist in six straight games.

When studs in the ilk of Stone and Paul Stastny go into a rut, then you are always going to struggle and nothing is going right for the Golden Knights right now.

Their blueline is also woeful and the defense is in serious need of a makeover, so there is plenty of work to be done for the Vegas Golden Knights if they are to compete with the Edmonton Oilers for the Pacific Division.
