It was the Vegas Golden Knights’ first loss of the preseason and they are now 4-1 with two exhibition games left, which are likely to act as dress rehearsals for the regular season.
Shea Theodore and Zach Whitecloud both left the game prior to the start of the third period and are considered day-to-day.
Malcolm Subban made his second start of the preseason but he wasn’t helped by a shaky blueline, letting in four goals on 32 shots.
