Vegas Golden Knights: Guessing who will have the best rating on NHL 20
The Goaltenders
As already mentioned, reports doing the rounds suggest that, like Mark Stone, Marc-Andre Fleury will be given a rating of 88 OVR in NHL 20, which makes sense given his impressive body of work and the fact that he was still vintage Fleury in 2018-19.
Despite his advancing years, the three-time Stanley Cup champion still managed to produce heroics for the Golden Knights on a consistent basis and he finished the year with a 2.51 Goals Against Average and a .913 Save Percentage.
Backup goalie Malcolm Subban started NHL 19 with an 81 OVR rating, but expect that to drop to an 80 or 79 OVR should the ratings be more realistic on NHL 20. Garret Sparks, meanwhile, was acquired in a trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier in the offseason and he shouldn’t be any higher than 78 or 79.
Marc-Andre Fleury – 88 OVR
Malcolm Subban – 80 OVR
Garret Sparks – 77 OVR
Oscar Dansk – 75 OVR
