We bring you another does of Vegas Golden Knights Weekly Nuggets as we catch you up on any news you may have missed over the last few days, in addition to rounding-up the must-read articles from around the NHL on the FanSided Network.

Although we are deep into the offseason now, there is still plenty going on and it has been a busy few days for the Vegas Golden Knights who brought back a locker room leader, while shedding a rather hefty contract off the books.

There has also been some more Nikita Gusev news (kind of) and we’ve dived into that as well as we could, while we also decided to be kind by presenting the new NHL franchise in Seattle some lessons they can learn from the Golden Knights when it comes to constructing a roster.

– Since the last edition of our Vegas Golden Knights Weekly Nuggets, we expressed our wish for October to hurry up and arrive.

– Oddsmakers are expecting big things from the Golden Knights in 2019-20 and we explained why people should lump money on Vegas this year.

– Seattle will be entering their own franchise into the NHL in 2021-22 and we did a deep dive on the six lessons new General Manager Ron Francis can learn from the Golden Knights when constructing a team.

– There were two notable transactions that took place on Tuesday and the first of those saw locker room leader Deryk Engelland handed a one-year extension. 

– The other headline from Tuesday was the shocking news that the Knights had rid themselves of David Clarkson’s albatross of a contract, shipping him to the Toronto Maple Leafs along with a fourth-round selection in 2020 for goaltender Garret Sparks. We broke down the trade in-depth here.
