Tonight’s the night as the Boston Bruins and the St. Louis Blues will battle it out for the right to lift the Stanley Cup, an experience that is well-known to the Vegas Golden Knights.

It was a year ago that the Vegas Golden Knights shocked the sporting world by reaching the Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural year, eventually losing out to the Washington Capitals in five.

No doubt everyone connected with the Knights will be watching on with both envy and a sense of nostalgia tonight, as well as a determination to get back to the biggest stage in all of sports next year.

This has been a crazy postseason from start to finish with the history-making Tampa Bay Lightning being swept in the First Round, other heavyweights like the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins falling early and the Carolina Hurricanes making an unlikely run.

And then you have the St. Louis Blues, a team who had the worst record in the NHL on Jan, 3, now one win away from putting a bow on arguably one of the greatest comebacks in sporting history.

Let’s not forget the Boston Bruins who have been in this situation as recently as 2011 – where they defeated the Vancouver Canucks in seven – and will be hoping to deliver yet another championship to a city who have been laden with success over the last decade or so.

This series alone has featured a plethora of storylines with two extremely well-matched teams going toe-to-toe and slugging it out, landing blow after vicious blow.

It will all come to a head tonight with one team being able to etch their name in the rich tapestry of the sport we all love forever.

Patrice Bergeron against Ryan O’Reilly. Tuukka Rask V Jordan Binnington. Championship experience against plucky newcomers.

Game 7 are the words we all crave to hear and tonight promises to give us a game for the ages with it being anyone’s guess to actually who ends up hoisting Lord Stanley.

To get you in the mood for the big game we’ve laid out a case for both teams when it comes to who you should be rooting for in the Stanley Cup Final if you are a Vegas Golden Knights fan…
