Not even Hollywood could have scripted the fairytale story that the Vegas Golden Knights have woven during their first two years of existence.

Ridiculed by many and written off by the majority, hockey in the desert was never meant to work out and the Vegas Golden Knights were seen as a laughing stock.

No, instead it has truly flourished and the Golden Knights have fitted right in at home in the NHL and in Vegas, where they have brought entertainment by the bucket load to Sin City.

It has been quite the ride for the NHL’s newest team and it shows no signs of slowing down with General Manager George McPhee having built a genuine Stanley Cup contender.

And the Golden Knights’ incredible journey, which is fit for the silver screen, will instead show on millions of small screens in the form of a new documentary.

Produced by Sterling Productions, Osmosis Films and NHL Original Productions and directed by Cruz Angeles, ‘Valiant’ will tell the story of the history-making 2017-18 Vegas Golden Knights team.

From the emotional home opener where the lives of those lost so tragically in the Vegas shootings were marked, to that historic run to the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals, Golden Knights fans will be able to relive their team’s jaw-dropping debut season all over again.

The documentary will certainly allow us all to relive that incredible 2018-19 season where the people of Vegas fell in love with hockey and its new team.

And things look set to get even better on the ice as the Knights look to navigate a busy offseason to ensure that they remain a genuine Stanley Cup contender.

Next. Time for McPhee to work his magic again. dark
