NHL Playoffs: All of the Other Game Recaps 04/17/2019

Las Vegas Knights fans need to know what’s going on in the NHL playoffs. Here are quick game recaps for all the games not involving an ice hockey team from the desert that happened on 04/17/2019 while we all wait for this Gusev dude.

Stars 5 Predators 1 (series tied 2-2)

The Dallas Stars route the Predators in Dallas led by Ben Bishop 34 saves. Bishop let one slip through in the middle of the 3rd period but the Stars were well on their way to the win when Roman Josi scored.

The real damage was on Nashville goaltender who let 4 goals in the first 15 minutes of the game. Offense didn’t come from a single player’s great game. Roope Hintz had two goals and no assists but no other player had more than a single point.

Bruins 6 Maple Leafs 4 (series tied 2-2)

This looked like it was going to be the most exciting game of the day the Boston Bruins were able to pull away from the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Travis Dermott got the Maples Leafs within a goal with under 7 minutes left but it wouldn’t be enough and the Boston Bruins were able to hold onto the lead and get win in Toronto territory.

Flames 2 Avalanche 3 (Avalanche lead series 3-1)

There was tension. There were near misses. And there was the fast paced play we expect from playoff hockey. Golden Knights fans haven’t had a nail biter yet in the playoffs and the Avalanche and Flames now have. They battled to the very end and the Colorado Avalanche came out victorious.

The shots, saves and near misses had me on the edge of my seat. I don’t need this stress during Knights games. I prefer to win them all 5-0.
