Three Possible Vegas Golden Knights Goal Songs
What will the Vegas Golden Knights goal song be?
When Vegas Golden Knights Owner Bill Foley made this all happen, there was an outpouring of support. Fans in the Las Vegas, Nevada area finally get to cheer on a professional major sporting franchise. Now the team has given the fans at T-Mobile Arena the opportunity to vote on a pretty big subject that being the goal song.
Every team in the NHL has one or multiple goal songs in particular situations. For example, the Tampa Bay Lightning use “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer whenever Steven Stamkos scores a goal. Another strange one is the Philadelphia Flyers using the “Bird Dance” by The Emeralds after their fourth goal.
The Golden Knights could go many different routes with song options. It’ll be interesting to see what fans have to say about a goal song. But right now I’m going to give you my top three goal song suggestions.
3. “Viva Las Vegas” by ZZ Top
The song would obviously cut in during the main lyrics. I feel like the fans would get in on this song and have a fun time with it. “Viva Las Vegas” is the song I believe the fans will go with, after all, it is the most popular song in Las Vegas.
2. “Secrets” by Tiësto & KSHMR feat. Vassy
This song is not up in the running, but this song is often played in clubs and bars all around the world and has a Vegas feel to it. Chime in on the video at the 2:26 mark, that’s where the song would begin to play. I think fans could get really behind this because A) it’s original and pretty new and B) its a fun, upbeat techno kind of music.
1. “Shout!” by The Isley Brothers
This one isn’t talked about at all, and I don’t understand why. “Shout!” is one of the most fun-loving, get up out of your seat songs out there. This classic hit definitely fits the Vegas mold also. This song would be an excellent choice for the Vegas Golden Knights goal song celebration.
