The Vegas Golden Knights expansion draft is nearly two months away and we’re here to get you ready.

The Stanley Cup playoffs start today and 16 teams are ready to make the last push for Lords Stanley. As for the other 14 teams, things didn’t go as planned. Those teams are packing their bags and hitting the golf course. But whether you’re a Stanley Cup Playoff team or a cellar dweller, the Vegas Golden Knights are coming.

The Golden Knights are prepping for the expansion draft that’s set to take place in June shortly after the Stanley Cup Final. We could see a ton of movement days after the Stanley Cup Final is over til the expansion draft. In all honesty, we really don’t know whats going to happen.

Vegas General Manager George McPhee is running mock drafts with his front office and scouts. McPhee looks like he’s ready to sign a Head Coach in time leading up to the expansion draft to give that coach his input on the expansion draft.

So while your watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, keep these players in mind as I do my very first mock draft of the Vegas Golden Knights. Lets start with the Pacific Division.
