The Vegas Golden Knights have a new unsuspecting fan in Bryce Harper.

The Vegas Golden Knights got an outburst of support from the fans of Nevada who’ve been pleading for an NHL franchise. In my opinion, I think it’s great for the NHL to come to Vegas. Think of all the tourists that want to come to Sin City. You ever want to escape from the dry heat or take a break from gambling? Go to a Golden Knights hockey game! This franchise could be a big success.

Then you have people who think this franchise is going to go in the other direction. Warm weather city in the desert, bunch of distractions, too much glitz and glamour. How will they ever draw any fans? None of those reasons make me buy in to their thinking whatsoever. Oh and they gained a big fan.

On Saturday, the Vegas Golden Knights welcomed former National League MVP Bryce Harper to T-Mobile Arena. Harper was doing photo shoots and promotional work for the Golden Knights.

The 4 time All Star was asked by the Golden Knights website about finally getting a professional sports team and his response was on point.

"“When we were able to get the Golden Knights into Vegas, my first thought was ‘I can’t wait.’ To be able to support a team from the Las Vegas area. What a better place to have a hockey team. Just a great city.”"

He also went on to say: “If the Caps are playing the Knights, I’m rooting for the Knights.”
