The recently leaked Vegas Golden Knights Draft hat gives a sharp, crisp, and beautiful look to the new franchise.

The Vegas Golden Knights Owner Bill Foley chose the team’s colors way back in 2016. He announced that the expansion franchises colors would be steel-gray, gold, red and black. At first, I wasn’t too sure how exactly the color scheme would go along with the team’s logo.

That color scheme is certainly different from what every NHL team currently has so I like the originality. It’s important for the team’s colors and jerseys to look appealing right out of the gate. In a market where hockey is not the talk of the town, it’s important to grab the casual fans attention with a sharp-looking jersey and color scheme.

And if their recently leaked Draft hats look anything like their jerseys, then Golden Knights fans are in for a treat.

According to SinbinVegas, the NHL leaked some of the hats that each rookie will sport when that particular team drafts them. Not all the team’s designs got leaked but lucky for Golden Knights fans,  theirs did. And It looks as if Adidas hit the Vegas Golden Knights design out of the park.

I think this look would work fantastic for their home jerseys. I know what your thinking though. It looks like the colors of the German flag. Or it seems like the same colors as the XFL’s Las Vegas Outlaws.

The Vegas Golden Knights design wasn’t meant to look like either one of those things. Foley brought up how each color in their scheme represents a meaning. Steel gray represents “strength and durability,” red means “skyline and desert canyons in Nevada,” and black represents “power and intensity.

I really like how the Gold on this hat pops out to go along with the small red striping. All in all, the hat looks awesome. If this is what’s in store for the new Golden Knights uniform, then sign me up.
